This was a collaboration with Proof Downtown to make a temporary restaurant concept called Templeton’s come to life. I worked closely with the Proof team to design the logo and four menus for the restaurant.

Proof Downtown, an entity under Canoe Concepts, supports the visions of culinary entrepreneurs by providing a space for aspiring restaurateurs to test their restaurant concepts.

Chef Aaron Walters wanted Templeton's to be a symbol of his culinary journey. He is known for his signature snapback hats, which became an important piece of the branding.
The combination mark uses Adobe's typeface Timberline with some added texture to provide a grass-roots feel. Also featured is the signature snapback, of course.
A simple informative slide was sent to the clients to outline basic brand guidelines.
Opening night was on Valentine's Day (2024), so a special menu was served. The menu's title and items were a personal touch from Chef Walters and his wife.
